Last night at dinner we decided that a winter trip was just plain necessary. I’m in the process of looking up houses by a ski resort in VA/WV to plan a little trip for MLK weekend in January. Basically it will be a cute little cabin filled with my friends, lots and LOTS of booze and hopefully a hot tub/ fireplace. Skiing, snowboarding and anything winter outdoors related will be COMPLTELY optional. Can’t wait.
actually doing the same thing for the second year in a row. last year’s (somewhat belated) mountain weekend was down at wintergreen, this year we’ll be lake front on deep creek lake with a group of twenty over mlk weekend - cannot wait.
